Math - Relating Multiplication to Division- Students are still wrapping up Unit 4 (thanks to snow days!), and we plan to have their test on Thursday now. Students received a study guide to complete at home. Please sign and return the study guide after your child completes it and you go over it together. This unit covers relationships between multiplication and division, place value understanding, and the properties of operations to multiply and divide whole numbers within 100. They will also represent and solve two-step word problems using the four operations. We will still practice multiplication fluency daily!
Science - Patterns of Survival- Students will continue a unit in science next week called Patterns of Survival. This unit will include looking at organisms in different ecosystems, and their adaptations to survive. Later in the unit, students will learn about extreme weather conditions and weather patterns.
Health - Healthy Coping Strategies- Students will explore different types of coping strategies when dealing with stress. They will also be able to explain some ways to help others.
